Manifesting the Life You Want

Updated: Jan 24, 2021

Just this year I started reading about the Law of Attraction and Manifestation. It was something I had always heard about, but that was as far as it went. I had no idea how much this mindset could literally change my life.

It all started when I began repeating daily affirmations. At first it felt weird and pointless, but as time went on I actually started believing what I was speaking. One day I went on YouTube and searched for videos of affirmations. I would usually listen for a few minutes in the morning and sometimes at night too. From searching videos of affirmations I found videos about meditation.

Mediation was something I had absolutely no interest in at all, and actually the first few times I tried meditating I ended up falling asleep lol. Fast forward a few months, and now meditation is something I do almost (if not) everyday.

From learning more about meditation I stumbled into the law of attraction and manifestation. The Law of Attraction is being able to attract into your life what you give your energy and focus to. Applying the Law of Attraction to your life can make manifesting your dreams and goals a reality.

Plan

With anything you want to accomplish, you first have to establish a plan. Coming up with a plan may seem hard, but it doesn't have to be. If you are unsure of where to start, simply think of your goal and write down each step you would need to take in order to reach that goal.

Visualize

It's important that you actually believe that you can accomplish the goal you're working towards. Try to live your life as if you have already accomplished that goal or dream. For whatever vision you have for your life, showing up everyday as that person may make all the difference.

A few helpful ways to help visualize your goals:

•Journaling

•Meditation

•Speaking words of Affirmations

•Vision Boards

Hard Work

When some people hear of manifestation, they may think that it's just as simple as believing in your goal and watching it take place into your life. This is not true at all. You have to actually put in the work. It's important that you do everything you can to make sure that everything works out for you.

If there's a test you want to pass, you have to study. If there's a weight loss goal you want to achieve, you have to change your diet or work out. It's not about how well you do, it's about the effort. If you're giving it your best, then the battle is half-way won.

Let Go

This is probably the hardest step. After you have planned and worked hard to reach your goal, after you have visualized and you envision yourself achieving that goal, you then just have to let go and let everything fall into place. This is where faith comes in to play. You have trust that what you prayed for and worked hard for is actually going to happen.

In the moments where you feel like worrying, or thinking about how your goal has not yet happened, try changing your perspective. Try to be grateful about where you currently are in your life. I'm sure there was a time where you prayed to be where you are now. Think about your dream or your goal and be positive and happy about the fact that some day soon that goal will be your reality.
